Dr. Matthew Seidel is a highly respected surgeon with a devotion to helping people find long-term relief and regain function through minimally invasive orthopedic techniques. Before coming to Phoenix Spine and Joint, Dr. Seidel spent decades refining his craft and changing lives through an extensive array of education and professional surgical experience.
A proud graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Seidel was chosen as one of a select group of students to complete their third and fourth clinical years at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. He was also awarded the Roessler research fellowship for research exploring new anesthetics for cardiac surgery not once, but twice.
Dr. Seidel then continued his education by completing the the Phoenix Orthopaedic Residency program based out of Maricopa County Hospital, the Phoenix VA Hospital, and Children’s Rehabilitation Services Clinic.
Along with deep experience in orthopedic trauma, Dr. Seidel has developed special interests in musculoskeletal oncology, as well as joint replacement surgery.
